Bron Meirion is
heated by the combination of the oil fuelled Rayburn and the multifuel
stove .
It is fully
equipped to sleep six plus travel cot. with three bedrooms,
two double bedrooms (one with patio window leading onto a South facing
balcony) and one twin bedroom.
All the beds
are provided with pillows and duvets, please bring your own duvet covers/sheets
and pillowcases.
From 2008 bedlinen, a bathtowel & hand towel will be provided for
each guest. (The cost will be included in the new 2008 tarif)
Modern
bathroom, bath with shower attachment and razor point.
The pine kitchen
is fully equipped and includes Rayburn cooker, electric cooker, dishwasher,
washer/dryer, microwave, pine table, six chairs and high chair. (Please
ask to see the full inventory if you wish to see all the equipment that
is provided).
Also fridge/freezer
The sitting room
has a multifuel stove which burns anthracite or wood.
For guests convenience half bags of anthracite are left by the coalman
with an honesty box arrangement for payment, small bags of wood may
be purchased in Beddgelert.
We have a
colour tv with digital reception, DVD, video. Archway
through to study area, with Hi Fi
One
dog is allowed by arrangement.
Electricity charged
as extra via a card meter.
ACCESS STATEMENT
The cottage stands on the roadside of a single track access road which
carries only local traffic. It is possible to park close to the front
door for the purposes of unloading a vehicle. Parking for at least two
vehicles is immediately across the road. There is a level approach from
the vehicles to the cottage.
Public transport (bus) is available from the end of the road about 750
meters away.
Entrance to the cottage is normally through the side gate, up a slightly
sloping passage to the rear door with one entrance step. Doorway 770
mm wide.
Passage to doorway (720 mm wide) into open plan dining/kitchen. 'Key'
electricity meter in passage.
Doorway (620mm wide) to sitting room with 2 two seater sofas. Individual
bright reading light provided for one sofa. Remote control TV, DVD player
and video recorder. Wide Archway to study. Door (790mm wide) to porch
and front door. (745 mm wide.) Three steps into road.
Stairs off kitchen comprise three steps to a half landing then stairs
to 1st floor with banister on left hand side.
Child gate provided at top of stairs.
Double bedroom on left at top of stairs with sliding doors to balcony.
Twin bedroom straight ahead from stairs, and further double bedroom
at end of passage to the left of the twin bedroom.
Bathroom at end of passage by the second double bedroom has 640 mm
wide door, toilet 440mm high, and bath 451mm high with flexible shower
over. Mirror with light and shaving point over.
Non feather pillows and duvets provided with poly-cotton covers and
sheets.
Good lighting with light switches and numerous power points at sensible
heights.
Variable mobile phone reception.
